SUBJECT: First Extension and Amendment to Agreement for Annual Temporary Staffing Services (Bid 2025027)

BACKGROUND
On March 25, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners awarded Bid 2025027 to Abacus Corporation, Artes Solutions, Express Employment Professionals, Infojini, Inspired Hope, Laine Federal Solutions, Lance Soft, LF Staffing, SoftSages Technologies, and The Reserves Network, effective March 25, 2025, for temporary personnel for various Departments/Divisions on a short term, “as-needed” basis.
ANALYSIS
Staff has been pleased with the services provided and would like to extend this agreement for an additional one-year period. As required by a 2025 change to Statute, an amendment is included with the First Extension to inlcude termination for breach language.
BUDGETARY IMPACT
There is no change to the rates charged for services. Funding for services under this agreement will vary by department and funding source.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommended Action
Staff recommends the Board approve the first extension and amendment to the agreement with the above listed vendors and authorize the Chairman to execute it after the County Attorney has approved it as to form and legal sufficiency.
