Award of Bid for Class 1 Landfill Segment 3 Cell 3 Site Preparation Project (Bid #2023040)
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that its Board approve the following: a) Approve award of Bid No. 2023040 to Ryan Incorporated Southern of Deerfield Beach, Florida, as the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for the Phase 1 construction of Cell 3 Segment 3 Expansion of the Class 1 Landfill project for a grand total in the amount of $5,848,249.10. So long as there are no changes in the dollar amount under this award, upon adequate completion of the work set forth in the Agreement, staff is directed to make final payment and release any retainage to Ryan Incorporated Southern after review and approval by the Purchasing Manager and the County Attorney’s Office; and, b) Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the sample agreement, as presented, pending receipt of the required bonds, insurance, and evidence of enrollment in e-verify, and final approval by the County Attorney as to form and legal sufficiency
