Recommended Action

Staff recommends the project be awarded to Ferreira Construction Southern Division Co., Inc. in the amount of $694,326.36 for the construction of the 66th Avenue and 8th Street Signalization Improvements. Staff further recommends the Board approve the sample agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute said agreement after review and approval of both the agreement and required Public Construction Bond by the County Attorney as to form and legal sufficiency, and the receipt and approval of required insurance by the Risk Manager.
