CARES Act Proposed Spending Plan and Funding Agreement

Recommended Action

Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the recommended program allocations as detailed above.  Staff recommends that the Board approve the attached subrecipient grant agreement in form and authorize staff to prepare agreements with the agencies in the amounts shown in the table above for the initial 25% allocation and authorize the Chairman to execute such agreements.  Staff also recommends that the Board authorize the County attorney to develop an agreement with the SBDC to cover the administrative services associated with the Small Business COVID-19 Recovery Grant program and authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement. Staff further recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to execute subrecipient agreements with each of the municipalities in the amounts listed above once the respective municipality’s spending plan has been reviewed and approved by County staff for compliance with CARES Act guidance.
