Hurricane Irma Storm Related Vegetative Debris Pick-Up

Recommended Action

Staff is requesting Board direction on whether to collect vegetative debris from private rights-of way as a result of Hurricane Irma.  Staff requests the Board make the determination whether it is in the public interest to clear the vegetative debris from the private rights-of-way to eliminate immediate threats to life, public health, or safety, or the economic recovery of the community at large.  And, staff additionally recommends that work on private rights-of-way does not commence until such time as the work is approved as eligible for reimbursement by FEMA.
