Request for Board Authorization for Design of South US Highway 1 Median Landscape Improvements and County Welcome Sign
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners: 1). Approve Work Order No. 9 to Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. authorizing professional design services for south US 1 median landscape improvements and welcome sign; 2). Authorize the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 9 on the Board’s behalf for a lump sum amount of $65,025.00; 3). Authorize expenditure of $100,000.00 from the County’s Tree Ordinance Fund for installation of landscaping improvement within the south US 1 median and to use such funds as the local match for a state highway beautification grant.
