Award of Bid for Class 1 Landfill Segment 3 Cell 3 Phase II Project (Bid #2024027)
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that its Board approve the following: a) Award Bid No. 2024027 to Comanco Environmental Corporation of Plant City, Florida, as the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for the Phase 2 construction of Cell 3 Segment 3 Expansion of the Class 1 Landfill project for a grand total in the amount of $6,897,651.70.; and, b) Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the sample agreement, as presented, pending receipt of the required bonds and insurance, and final approval by the County Attorney’s Office as to form and legal sufficiency. So long as there are no changes in the dollar amount under this award, upon adequate completion of the work set forth in the Agreement, staff is directed to make final payment and release any retainage to Comanco Environmental Corporation after review and approval by the Purchasing Manager and the County Attorney’s Office.
