SUBJECT: Local Option Gas Tax Distribution Percentages, Amended to Correct Scrivener’s Error, are Reaffirmed in all Other Respects

BACKGROUND
On May 20, 2025, the Local Option Gas Tax Distribution Percentages for 2025-2026 were approved by the Board of County Commissioners. However, due to a scrivener’s error, the fiscal year on the proposed revenue percentage was listed as “Proposed for 2024/2025”, when it should have been “Proposed for 2025/2026”. It therefore is being amended to correct the fiscal year.
ANALYSIS
Local Option Gas Tax distribution percentages that were approved on May 20, 2025, were correct, only the proposed fiscal year was in error. The percentages are reaffirmed in all other respects.
