SUBJECT: Award of Annual Bid 2025038 for Right-of-Way Mowing

BACKGROUND
On behalf of the Road and Bridge Division, annual bids were requested for contractors to perform mowing in 11 roadway right-of-way sections. The most recent agreements for this work expired on March 18, 2025, and the terms were not renewed so that a new bid could be issued with the segments to be mowed divided to smaller portions to enhance the execution of the work and award to multiple qualified vendors. The recommended term of award is one year, with the option of two one-year renewals.

The work is divided into the following Roadway Sections:
Section 1 Oslo Road
Section 2 27th Avenue / 27th Avenue SW
Section 3 58th Avenue South of SR 60
Section 4 66th Avenue South of SR 60
Section 5 66th Avenue North of SR 60
Section 6 North US 1
Section 7 South US 1
Section 8 VLE / West Side - CR 512 from Roseland Road to 195
Section 9 East Side CR 512 from US 1 to Roseland Road
Section 10 All SR 60 Medians and SR 60 Right-of-Ways including 43rd Avenue
Section 11 58th Avenue North of SR 60
