BACKGROUND
For many years, Indian River County has provided assistance in funding Fourth of July firework displays in the City of Vero Beach and the City of Sebastian. The City of Vero Beach has requested a contribution in the amount of $5,000. The City of Sebastian has requested a $2,500 contribution.

Funding in the amount of $7,500 is currently budgeted and available for the firework displays in the MSTU Fund/Recreation/Special Events account, number 00410872-041110.
