BACKGROUND

 

By Resolution No. 2019-089 adopted on October 1, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners delegated to the County Administrator or his designee, the authority to execute extensions to Contracts for Construction of Required Roadway Improvements for work to be performed under Section 312.11 of the Code of Indian River County, so long as the approval signature of the Public Works Director appeared on the extension document and that notice of such extension is presented as an informational item on a future agenda of the Board of County Commissioners.

For your information, a second extension document has been entered into between GRBK GHO LUCAYA POINTE, LLC and Indian River County, whereby the date for completion of the roadway improvements to 41st Street within County right-of-way relating to the Lucaya Pointe project has been extended to May 9, 2026.  Additionally, the supporting security consisting of Cash has been amended to extend the expiration date to May 9, 2026 now showing the cash deposited into escrow with the county in the amount of $8,652.54, as reflected in the new certified cost estimate.
