SUBJECT: SWDD Closures and Collection Service Changes for Christmas and New Year’s Day

BACKGROUND
In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Main County Landfill and the five Customer Convenience Centers will be closed on Thursday, December 25th, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026. In addition, there will be no residential curbside services for recycling, trash, bulk trash or yard waste on that day. The chart below provides information regarding collection services in unincorporated county and the municipalities. Residents may visit the Indian River County website at: www.indianriver.gov for more information.
