from A-1, Agricultural District to RS-3, Single-Family Residential District
__________________________________________________________________

DISCLAIMER: This rezoning request was heard by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on January 13, 2026. A presentation was made by Planning staff, the matter was opened to the public for comment, the Board deliberated on the item, and then the Board voted 5-0 to approve the rezoning. However, the adopting DRAFT ordinance was inadvertently omitted from the materials that were transmitted to the Board. The County Attorney’s Office has determined that because the Board did not have the DRAFT ordinance for review, that the matter was not officially approved. Thus, the rezoning request has been readvertised and the matter brought back before the Board for its official review.
